Yesterday Daddy Bowie left the phonograph (ahaha I felt so old now, just by saying phonograph…at least it wasn´t a 1958 RCA type Cartridge!) and who got in was Fran. If daddy is my father from Mars, then Fran could be my mama – I just don´t know which planet she came from, but I believe is from Mars too, because she is crazy as daddy and played with Iggy Pop too! *.*

There´s so much in her, by the way, that reminds me of my mom in the 70´s…

He is coming on Monday. And the other technician, Odin forbids me to see him around…and the guy took a No-break, and haven´t told us what was the problem…

My father always plays the smart with me, and always lets the others play him the fool…incredible. ¬¬

Today I´m really in the mood to write, but I lack of subject. A shame. Because I have a lot of free time on the computer.

I mean, not so much. I have a lot of Uttrik stuff to do and Amanda is coming. She requested english coaching.

I think I´m really stupid or…well, I better stay quiet. There are things that are better not to say, to keep the peace. Last night I should have stayed quiet, even being totally excited about something….we say and people just kill your hapiness with a few words.

For all these things I want to go back to Rio, soon.

But it´s good to know when somebody is really by your side, or if there is a personal interest behind it, but it´s good to know. You know, that time when the ideas get so clear and you have the hapiness to know – ok, disappointment too, but it´s always good to know – who is by your side and who´s not. And who is because has nothing better to do, or because they need you, or who really wants you around. The last one is better.

Subjective post, uh?

…not only to London, but anywhere…anywhere far away,  where the air you breathe is different, where city lights come up without blinding you…a place where I can meet new people, see new things, learn more…to abroad my culture…nothing too much cosmopolitan, like New York, or too folk, like Dublin…

Maybe Kyoto or Osaka represent what I´m looking for now, kind of…technology and tradition together…

Here am I being subjective again.

Lately I´ve been listening daddy Bowie more than anyone else…then I was organizing some of my songs to a project I planned this next year and I found out that two of them look very much like his work on Space Oddity…should I listen to something else?

I decided the other day that I would make a post of all the long plays I love – of the ones I have – and ended up not doing until today, as I said I´d make a post about all the videos I like of Robbie Williams…and Lazy Days deserves a space in here. It´s a song that always moved me.

Because I told her that I found yesterday great photos of Steve, but I wouldn´t post them yet because I made that vow of posting only black and white pictures, until I had news from Steve, but then Alyce said “oh, so change the pictures you found to grey scale” (playing the smarty arse ¬¬), but then I thought that this one – and the others -  look better in color, anyway…

I think this pic is BEAUTIFUL – of course he could have taken off the sunglasses so I could see those wonderful green eyes! *.* – but there are other pics, even better…Fabi saw some with me yesterday (she was also saving some pics of David Sylvian, her beloved one)…there was this one of Steve before a concert, I died – and went straight to Valhall *.*…I was crazy to post this one at my fotolog but I´m waiting for a special occasion, or special news…

Well, yesterday I had to save to a cd all my important files – i.e. Uttrik,  Japan/Sylvian/Jansen/Duran/Bowie Songs, photos, plus photos of me, plus my “Studio Files”…and Studio files was the folder that worried me the most…because there was a lot of recorded audio over there that I haven´t sent to Fabi yet.

It´s raining over here, I have no idea what´s wrong with my computer, sound´s back – I´m watching this:

…but I think I´ll still have to format…or not….the problem is that I need to install AVG first…I´m trying since yesterday afternoon.

My computer is totally Boris Yeltsin…o.o sometimes makes things we could only expect from a drunken man.

I want a MAC!    

Poor pc, is just a mean old man…like Paul McCartney´s Mean Mr. Mustard.

Talking about mean old men, I was thinking about Steve – okie, that joke wasn´t nice at all – and my pc clock accused 14:14. Since I´m starting to disbelieve in this digital thing  Mila told me (that when you think of someone and you look to a clock and the digits are the same it means that person is thinking of you too – that´s actually very OCD! o.o) for my mental sanity´s sake – I don´t want to be another victim of Obssessive-compulsive disorder – I just said “pffff” and left the clock alone.

It was raining with grey sky and the sun is already coming out again…and it´s still raining…whatafuck´s wrong with this city that we never have one cold day????? Enough of burning me!!

Geez, five minutes later the sky is grey again!    O.O  Almighty Thor!

I think I´m forgetting something…I don´t really know what is it (I see Alzheimer knocking at my door)…but today I was really in the mood for Brittojuniorizar…

Oh, yes, yesterday I had the terrible experience of feeling like a monoplegic…I was playing my guitar and I think I stayed too long in the same position, and since I haven´t felt anything wrong with my leg, I just got up to put the guitar back on the case…thing is, I haven´t felt anything wrong because I wasn´t really feeling my leg! I tried to stand, but my leg was folding, and folding and it just didn´t obeyed me, I got desperate because I realised I was falling, and I dropped the guitar trying to reach somewhere, but I couldn´t…

Results: I fell on the ground and my guitar fell ON MY HAND. My hand is a little bit sored, which keeps me from playing today and to Brittojuniorizar, too much.

Can you imagine all this heavy metal and wood in my cutie little hands? O.O

For those of you who don´t know what Brittojuniorizar means, is a joke in Brazil for bloggers who like to write too much with too many details.

Yesterday I played a very unexpected cover. No Japan, no Duran duran, no Bowie. Something very unexpected, but not much, for people who know my taste in music. It was really cute.

I already have 12 written songs, waiting to be recorded! =D

There were a lot more, I´m writing a lot, but some songs I discharged. This year, if I had resources, counting the songs I wrote I could have done two albuns at least…maybe next year! o/

I have this feeling that people look at me and think “whatever”.

“Will you marry me?” That´s a sentence I don´t think I´ll ever hear in my life…I never heard, actually…but the thing is not about the sentence itself, or marriage itself – I don´t really believe in marriage because I´ve seen how marriage screw up my mom´s life – but the true meaning of it. Telling someone you want to marry her/him shows that you love this person so much that you´re able to spent a whole lifetime with her/his worst characteristics too – or until the divorce tear you apart.

I won´t say I´m the most unbearable girl in the world,  but there aren´t many guys that can handle me…I think I´m someone kinda like David Sylvian, that from a first sight everybody thinks he is weird, crazy, even cruel – I´ve hear some nasty things people say about Dave – and when they get to know him better they love him to death.

I love him to death.

But, see, is not that I´m able to say “oh, I know David”, no, I don´t know David, but knowing his history, some of his attitudes can be justified…then, and I´m talking of anyone, when you get to know well that person, you start to understand one´s actions, and with understanding comes acceptance…

I was never able to understand the guys that passed through my life..I don´t even want to start the “flashback analysis” because, besides painful, is a waste of my precious time. And when I get to remember my last boyfriend…God forbid…

After him, I think I became a prototype of “Hermit Sylvian”. I attached to anything that could turn my attention away from every relationship and I just runaway of any chance of being with someone.

I owe a lot of this to the fact that I like someone who doesn´t like me. I mean, is not that he hates me, he just don´t like me the way I like him.

But who´s going to love such a insane lady? You gotta have patience..not all men have…

Today I spent the afternoon with Fabi, talking about of course the new songs I wrote this week and we will probably be working on them the next weeks (after my surgery, dec 14 of course) and suddenly she founds these videos of a guy playing fretless, and using as background Gentlemen Take Polaroids, Swing and Art of Parties – this last one we just included on our set list.

And we started to talk about fretless bass and how Cam will manage to play it – she needs a few pedals too – and we ended up talking, of course, about Mick Karn, my dear Xurumelo (I´ll explain later why Xurumelo).

Then I looked for some videos of Mick, but found nothing much besides those ones of JBK I´ve spoke before…except for these two.

And today I have a LOT of stuff to do  (including  Uttrik´s work!) and I have AESIR recording to make – I´m terrified of all this going wrong… – and, not satisfied, I´m still creating the pages on this blog,  since I just didn´t want to revamp “How Duran duran keep rocking my world”.

Plus, just because I´m Gemini and annoying and I know I can do a lot of things at the same time, I will update the fotolog and I took a few minutes to look at Cherry brunette´s fotolog, my new friend of posting and Duran duran (Japan also, since she is addicted now), Alyce Jennifer. *there´s a link to her blog on the side bar! ——–>

Today I´m feeling kinda lonely…a green eyed gorgeus haven´t answered my last mail – hangover from the birthday party? – Fabi is not online, and Camila, poor baby, is still working on her TCC. Raqee is the only one online….and she´s off now, I just saw. ¬¬

I hate being alone when there´s so much to talk about…

I´m close to finish the walls on my room, I gave up of painting it black and I´ll probably do it green now. Morten Sverre room type, a dark green. I´ll buy the ink tomorrow, never let my father buy it alone…he called me today asking if I wanted lime green…LIME GREEN! Do you have any idea to which color he was referring to? THIS!

I said, between a laugh, that only if it´s for me never sleep again. He is indeed against me paiting the room in a dark color. Let´s see. When it´s ready, he will agree with me.

I thought it would be hard to say goodbye to the old teenager decoration in my room, full of Duran duran pictures and posters covering the wall. It only hurts when you take the pictures off. When I finished the wall and it was all like a canvas to work on, it felt really great.

Feels like a fresh start since I came back from Rio de Janeiro. Things are changing slowly, but they ARE. I´m first operating changes inside myself, then the world around me, then the whole world.
